1. Program Description
AM Services America ("we," "us," "our") offers SMS text message notifications to customers, service providers, and other users of our platform. By providing your phone number and affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive text messages as described below.
2. Types of Messages You May Receive
Depending on your account type and preferences, you may receive SMS messages for the following purposes:
For Customers:
- Booking confirmation and appointment details
- Provider dispatch notifications and estimated arrival time
- Provider en-route alerts and real-time status updates
- Job completion confirmations and payment receipts
- Service reminders and follow-up requests
- Account security alerts (e.g., login from new device)
- Customer support responses
For Providers:
- New job offer notifications in your coverage area
- Job acceptance confirmations and scheduling updates
- Customer contact information upon job acceptance
- Dispatch instructions and routing updates
- Payment deposit notifications
- Account and credential renewal reminders
- Platform announcements relevant to your service categories
3. Consent & Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number on any AM Services America registration form, checkout page, or account settings page and checking the SMS consent box, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from AM Services America at that number.
You are not required to provide consent to SMS messages as a condition of using the Platform, except for critical transactional messages related to active service bookings.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of non-essential SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message from our short code
- Updating your notification preferences in your account settings
- Contacting our support team at support@amservicesamerica.com
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You may opt back in at any time by texting START to our number or updating your account preferences.
Note: Opting out of marketing SMS does not opt you out of critical transactional messages (e.g., emergency account security alerts). These are necessary for your protection and cannot be disabled.
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity on the Platform. Active users during the booking process may receive multiple messages per day. Outside of active bookings, message frequency is typically low (0–4 messages per week).
6. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. AM Services America does not charge you for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard text message rates based on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
7. Carriers
Carrier message delivery is not guaranteed. AM Services America is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.
8. Privacy
Your phone number and opt-in status are stored securely and not sold to third parties. See our full Privacy Policy for complete details on how we handle personal information.
9. HELP Command
Reply HELP to any of our messages to receive a response with support contact information and a link to this policy.
